Prestigious school district on north shore of Long Island has an anticipated vacancy for the following:
PRINCIPAL
(ELEMENTARY)
PROBATIONARY – 12-MONTH POSITION
Start date: July 1, 2024
Among the requirements for this position are;
- NYS SDA/SAS or SDL/SBL certification
- Knowledge and experience in elementary school teaching, administrative experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a background of promoting professional growth
- Thorough understanding of RTI and data analysis
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide collaborative leadership for a rigorous and challenging academic program
- Direct the development/implementation of curricula and assessment
- Monitor individual professional development plans
- Master scheduling
- Instructional and non-instructional supervision
- Commitment to the academic and social emotional well-being of elementary school students
