SACC CHILD CARE ASSISTANT

$23.75/Hour

Flexible schedule options available with before or after school hours.

Applications are now being accepted for the following anticipated SACC Child Care Assistant(s) & SACC Pre-K Extended Care position(s) for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Child Care Assistant responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Assist in conducting planned activities in SACC.
• Work with children in small groups.
• Provide leadership to children, supervising varied activities such as: sports, games,

crafts, and other program activities.

• Assist in determining effective use of facilities and equipment.
• Follow procedures to safeguard the health and safety of children in program.
• Assist in providing nutritious daily snacks when needed.

 

Requirements:  Must have prior child care experience

                        Fingerprinting required by NYS Education Department
