2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Probationary Technology Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Must be NYS Technology Education Certified.
Teaching responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver engaging middle-school technology lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Teach coding concepts and programming skills
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences using robotics platforms, drones, 3D printing, and STEM design challenges
- Integrate digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology use into instruction
- Develop project-based learning activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration
- Maintain and manage technology equipment, tools, and classroom resources
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide STEM initiatives and enrichment programs
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and industry trends to enhance curriculum and instruction
Salary is in accordance with the teachers’ contract.
Estimated start date: September 2026.
