GUIDANCE PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE

 

Three Village Central School District is seeking a certified School Counselor for a building-based Permanent Substitute Guidance Counselor position. Based primarily in the middle school, you will provide student support by leading individual counseling sessions, facilitating peer conflict resolution, and providing crisis intervention. Additionally, you will serve as a bridge between schools by pushing into district 5th-grade classrooms to deliver developmental guidance lessons and support the scheduling process from the elementary level to the middle school.

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in School Counseling with valid state certification, alongside strong classroom management skills, deep knowledge of adolescent development, and the emotional intelligence needed to navigate sensitive situations with confidentiality.

 

Salary will be BA, Step 1 of the Three Village Teachers Association (TVTA) contract. This position does not receive benefits.
