Assistant Supervisor

Monday – Friday
7:15 am – 9:30 am and 2:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Salary – $28.00 hourly

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; or six (6) months of experience working with children in a day care, early childhood, or related program.
  • Must have experience in supervising adult staff.

 

Salary will be paid in accordance with the Child Care Unit’s salary schedule.  Candidates may be subject to fingerprinting.

SACC CHILD CARE ASSISTANT

$22.00/Hour

Applications are now being accepted for the following anticipated SACC Child Care Assistant(s) & SACC Pre-K Extended Care position(s) for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Child Care Assistant responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in conducting planned activities in SACC.
  • Work with children in small groups.
  • Provide leadership to children, supervising varied activities such as: sports, games,

crafts, and other program activities.

  • Assist in determining effective use of facilities and equipment.
  • Follow procedures to safeguard the health and safety of children in program.
  • Assist in providing nutritious daily snacks when needed.

Requirements:  Must have prior child care experience

                        Fingerprinting required by NYS Education Department

$22.00/HOUR
